Job summary

We are recruiting a Warehouse & Logistics Coordinator in Newport for a manufacturing business. The role combines warehouse operations, logistics coordination, SAP usage, and stock control to support smooth material flow across the business.

You will work with production teams, transport providers and external warehouses to maintain on-time deliveries, accurate stock levels and efficient supply chain operations. Full training is provided before moving to permanent rota.

Qualifications

• Experience in warehouse, logistics or supply chain coordination.
• Familiarity with SAP systems (especially SD/WM) and stock control processes.
• Strong organisational and problem-solving abilities.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate inbound and outbound logistics for raw materials and finished products.
• Manage warehouse transactions and stock movements using SAP.
• Support goods-in processes, inventory checks and stock accuracy.
• Liaise with transport providers and external warehouse partners.
• Prepare export documentation and support customs processes.
• Investigate and resolve stock discrepancies and logistics issues.
• Ensure materials are available to support production requirements.
• Support warehouse operations, including loading/unloading activities.

Location: Newport

Salary: £34,500 per annum + Excellent Benefits

Contract: Full-time, Permanent, 24/7 Rotating Shift Pattern

This role operates on a 24/7 rotating shift pattern:

• Rotation: 4 on, 4 off (repeated three times), followed by 10 consecutive days off.


• Includes both day and night shifts.


• Shift pattern consists of 2 day shifts followed by 2 night shifts.


• Day Shift: 6:00am – 6:00pm.


• Night Shift: 6:00pm – 6:00am.


• The 10 consecutive days off form part of the shift rotation.


• In addition, employees are entitled to 44 hours of annual leave to book throughout the calendar year.

Full training will be provided before moving onto the permanent rota.

The Role:

About You:

We’re looking for someone with experience in:

• Warehouse, logistics, inventory or supply chain coordination.


• Manufacturing or fast-paced operational environments.


• SAP systems (SAP SD experience essential, SAP WM desirable).


• Stock control and inventory management.


• Import/export processes and documentation (advantageous).


• Strong organisation, communication and problem-solving skills.

A proactive attitude and the ability to work across multiple departments are key to success in this role.

FLT Experience/licence Would Be Advantageous But Not Essential.
