Job summary

Peli BioThermal is seeking a proactive Warehouse Lead to support receiving, dispatch, and picking for production. You will supervise a busy team, ensure quality and FIFO controls, and actively contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.

You will manage SAP updates, assist with cycle counts, and provide cover for the Supervisor while maintaining compliance with ISO/GMP standards. Strong numeracy and Excel skills are essential.

Qualifications

• 3 years+ experience in a fast-paced warehouse environment.
• 1 year+ experience leading a team.
• Extensive knowledge of SAP or equivalent ERP system.

Responsibilities

• Support goods receiving, dispatch and picking materials for production and assembly.
• Ensure quality inspections and materials meet specs.
• Maintain FIFO stock control and cycle counting.
• Provide cover for Supervisor when unavailable.
• Update SAP and reports as needed.
• Manage waste and support ISO/GMP compliance.
• Contribute to continuous improvement and housekeeping.

Job description

The main accountabilities of this position are outlined below but include working and supporting the warehouse teams whether that be receiving and shipping, materials for production and assembly, inventory control, ensuring all documentation is completed correctly and in a timely manner, updating SAP as needed and providing cover for the Supervisor when not available. In addition to these, the Job holder will be required to undertake specific projects either as a team member or as required by the Production Supervisor. The Job holder as a Lead is expected to exhibit the behaviors and standards inherent within Peli BioThermal and to act as a role model for all staff.

Our Role:

• Work with and support the team in goods receiving, dispatch and/or picking materials for production and assembly areas.
• Ensure quality inspections are carried out and materials are to an acceptable level of specification.
• Support material (stock) control ensuring you and team follow FIFO.
• Assist with cycle counting and investigations as needed.
• Act as cover when Supervisor is unavailable.
• Update SAP and other reports as needed.
• Ensure waste is managed in your area.
• Support the Quality Assurance activities of the company regarding ISO/GMP compliance
• Work with the team on continuous improvement ideas, daily/weekly/monthly housekeeping and complete any 6S or Walk of Pride actions
• Liaise with all areas of the business to ensure customers’ needs are met, communicating effectively at all levels while acting as a point of contact for any questions relating to your area.
• Ensure KPI targets and operational objectives are met, and month end reporting is completed on time
• Follows company policies and practices as outlined in the Employee Handbook and/or applicable employment agreement. Follows safety guidelines and procedures in accordance to the job.
• Performs additional duties as assigned.

Job Requirements

• At least 3 years’ experience working in a fast-paced warehouse environment
• At least 1 year experience leading a team
• Extensive knowledge of SAP or equivalent ERP system is required
• Numeracy skills and attention to detail are a must for this role along with experience with Microsoft outlook and excel.
