Responsibilities

• Wrapping and packaging conservatory roofs and other manufactured products ready for delivery.
• Dismantling completed conservatory roof assemblies in preparation for dispatch.
• Ensuring products are securely wrapped and protected during transport.
• Labelling products in line with company procedures and standards.
• Checking that wrapping and labelling are completed accurately and to the required standard.
• Maintaining a clean, tidy and safe working environment.
• Following all company health and safety policies and procedures.
• Assisting with other duties as required.

We are currently recruiting for a Warehouse Labourer to join our client’s team in a busy manufacturing environment. This role involves preparing products, including conservatory roofs, for delivery to customers, ensuring all items are wrapped securely, labelled accurately and ready for dispatch.

Key Responsibilities

• Wrapping and packaging conservatory roofs and other manufactured products ready for delivery.


• Carefully dismantling completed conservatory roof assemblies in preparation for dispatch.


• Ensuring all products are securely wrapped and protected during transportation.


• Correctly labelling products in line with company procedures and standards.


• Checking that wrapping and labelling are completed accurately and to the required standard.


• Maintaining a clean, tidy and safe working environment.

Training & Development

Full training will be provided by the designated supervisor, including:

• Manual handling and safe lifting techniques.

• Workplace housekeeping and maintenance.


• Correct use of personal protective equipment (PPE).


• Safe working practices when using sharp tools and handling materials.


• Fire safety and emergency procedures.


• Company health and safety policies and procedures.

Health & Safety

The company is committed to maintaining a safe working environment. Appropriate training and protective equipment will be provided, including gloves, ear plugs and a mask. Employees must provide and wear their own steel toe-capped safety boots.
