Job summary

The Wellpark Brewery in Glasgow, home of Tennent’s Direct, is seeking a Warehouse Operator on a 12 month fixed term contract. You will support the Warehouse Department to meet KPI targets for cost, quality and service, handling daily, weekly and monthly tasks with a focus on safety and accuracy.

Tasks include picking/packing orders, operating warehouse equipment and adhering to HACCP, 5S and quality controls, while actively participating in training and improvement activities.

Qualifications

• English & Mathematics Standard Grades or equivalent.
• Packaging or Engineering based qualification an advantage.
• Operational training provided for the role.
• FLT License with Keg Clamp experience an advantage.
• Computer literacy with MS Office.
• Picking experience desirable.
• Counter balance forklift license with clamp truck experience advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Comply with all Statutory & Legal requirements.
• Comply with Safety, Health & Environment requirements.
• Comply with packaging or food hygiene safety regulations as defined by policy or legislation (HACCP).
• Comply with Product & Process Quality requirements.
• Comply with Housekeeping, Cleaning & 5S requirements.
• Comply with basic asset care requirements.
• Operate Warehouse Equipment to deliver finished goods on time and cost effectively.
• Undertake improvement activities to meet KPI targets (e.g., SIC).
• Undertake training for new skills & tasks within the Department.
• Attend Meetings & Briefings as necessary.
• Comply with documentation and transactions to operate and improve performance.
• Meet internal customer requirements.
• Understand food safety requirements in the role.
• Accurately pick and pack orders ensuring stock is complete and undamaged.
