Job summary

The iconic Wellpark Brewery in Glasgow, home of Tennent’s Direct, seeks a committed production operative on a 12-month fixed-term contract. You will support daily to monthly production activities, ensuring quality, on-time delivery and continuous improvement across internal and external customers.

Key duties include equipment care, cleaning, changeovers, risk assessments, 5S, and accurate documentation. Applicants should have relevant science/engineering qualifications and a proactive,

Qualifications

• Educated to Standard Grade in Maths, English and a science-based subject essential (Grade 3 minimum).
• Higher level in a science-based subject preferable.
• HND in science-based subject advantageous.
• Other relevant qualifications advantageous (Engineering, Packaging, Logistics, Food Science, or Health and Safety based).

Responsibilities

• Contribute flexibly within Wellpark’s production team to ensure quality, delivery and improved service.
• Take ownership of equipment, including cleaning, CIP, changeovers and monitoring to ensure on-time production at right cost.
• Comply with SHE, Quality, Technical and Food Safety requirements and perform risk assessments and 5S activities.
• Complete documentation and system transactions for traceability and operation.
• Attend meetings, drive improvements, and support cost-reduction and downtime minimisation.
