Job summary

Apex Resources Ltd in Glasgow Baillieston area is seeking a skilled Forklift Operator to join the warehouse team. You will operate forklifts and other material handling equipment to move goods safely and efficiently, supporting shipping and receiving tasks.

The role requires a valid counterbalance license and at least 1 year of forklift experience. You will be part of a busy operation, maintaining health and safety standards and ensuring accurate inventory and storage processes.

Apex Resources Ltd are recruiting for skilled Forklift Operator in Glasgow Baillieston area.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating forklifts and other material handling equipment to ensure efficient movement of goods within our warehouse. This role is crucial for maintaining the flow of operations, ensuring safety, and supporting shipping and receiving tasks.

Valid counterbalance license and at leas 1 years experience operating forklift required for this position.

Responsibilities

• Operate forklifts safely and efficiently to load and unload materials from lorries and storage areas.
• Perform shipping and receiving duties, including checking incoming and outgoing shipments for accuracy.
• Conduct regular inspections of equipment to ensure proper functioning and report any maintenance needs.
• Handle materials with care, ensuring that all items are stored correctly within the warehouse management system.
• Assist in heavy lifting tasks as needed, ensuring compliance with safety regulations.
• Maintain a clean and organised work environment, adhering to health and safety standards.

• Proficient in operating forklifts and other material handling equipment.
• Capable of heavy lifting and physically demanding tasks as required by the role.

Hour of Work

Monday to Thursday 7:30am-4:30pm, Friday 7:30am-1:30pm paid at £13.50 per hour
