Job summary

Manpower UK is recruiting for a Warehouse/FLT driver to join our globally recognised client based south of Cambridge. The role sits within a busy Stores and Warehouse team with potential for a permanent placement after a temporary period.

The ideal candidate will hold a valid external FLT licence (Counterbalance or Reach Truck), have warehouse experience and a strong commitment to health and safety, and be prepared to work 12-hour shifts on various patterns.

Qualifications

• Valid external FLT licence (Counterbalance or Reach Truck)
• Previous warehouse or stores experience desirable
• Strong commitment to health and safety

Responsibilities

• Carry out daily safety checks on equipment and vehicles
• Receive, unload and store deliveries safely and efficiently
• Check deliveries for damaged or missing items
• Quality check products and materials
• Operate Counterbalance and/or Reach Truck FLTs safely and effectively
• Load and dispatch goods accurately
• Deliver materials to production lines in line with operational requirements
• Pick and prepare orders for dispatch
• Conduct stock counts as required
• Ensure all lifting and manual handling activities are carried out safely
• Maintain a clean, organised and safe working environment
• Follow all company health, safety and environmental procedures
