Manpower UK is recruiting for a Warehouse/FLT driver to join our globally recognised client south of Cambridge. The role forms part of a busy Stores and Warehouse team with potential for a permanent position after a successful temporary period.

The candidate must hold a valid external FLT licence (Counterbalance or Reach Truck) and demonstrate a commitment to health and safety. Responsibilities include receiving deliveries, stock checks, loading, dispatch, and supporting production lines.

The successful candidate will become part of a busy Stores and Warehouse team, with the potential for a permanent position following a successful temporary period. Key Responsibilities

• Carry out daily safety checks on equipment and vehicles
• Receive, unload and store deliveries safely and efficiently
• Check deliveries for damaged or missing items
• Quality check products and materials
• Operate Counterbalance and/or Reach Truck FLTs safely and effectively
• Load and dispatch goods accurately
• Deliver materials to production lines in line with operational requirements
• Pick and prepare orders for dispatch
• Conduct stock counts as required
• Ensure all lifting and manual handling activities are carried out safely
• Maintain a clean, organised and safe working environment
• Follow all company health, safety and environmental procedures

Shifts

These roles will be covering a variety of working patterns based around 12-hour shifts - averaging 12 shifts a month with rest periods as long as 8 days between (Average 6/7-night shifts per month). Over time is also regularly available and paid at 1.5x or 2.0x the rate depending on the shift.
