Job summary

Rexel UK Ltd in Cardiff is offering a Warehouse/Driver role within the Cardiff Hub/Branch, operating Monday to Friday, 08:00 - 17:00. You will learn how to run a successful wholesaling branch starting in the warehouse and supporting deliveries to customers.

You will gain hands-on experience in stock control, packing, and delivering, while engaging customers over the trade counter and by phone to build strong partnerships and secure repeat business.

Qualifications

• Hold a valid UK Driving Licence with max 3 points and be at least 21 years old.
• Proven multi-drop and basic warehouse experience.
• Strong communication to engage with customers and colleagues.
• Adaptability to switch tasks to support business needs.

Responsibilities

• Perform warehouse duties including stock control, picking and packing products.
• Load vans for deliveries and fulfill delivery routes when required.
• Support customers at the trade counter and over the phone.
• Provide excellent customer service to secure repeat business.

Job Description

As a Warehouse / Driver, you will be an integral part of the branch team, by completing warehouse duties such as inwards stock control and picking and packing products from our vast product line, Loading up the vans for deliveries to be completed and covering delivery routes when required - to then transitioning into learning to support customers over the trade counter and via the phones. This role allows you to have firsthand customer interaction and support the operation by offering a great service to our customers to enhance the service we provide and securing repeat customers.

What We Are Looking For..

• DRIVING: Hold a Valid UK Drivers Licence, with no more than 3 points & be a minimum of 21 years old (Insurance Purposes)

• COMMUNICATION: Have great conversational skills to enhance your customer service and engagement across to your colleagues and Customers
