Job summary

Rexel UK is seeking a Warehouse Operative/Delivery Driver to join our Bury Saint Edmunds branch. You will handle warehouse tasks such as stock control and picking/packing, and load vans for deliveries to customers.

The role involves direct customer interaction and occasional route coverage, offering a varied workload and opportunities to contribute to high-quality service.

Qualifications

• Valid UK driving licence with no more than 3 points and aged at least 21 for insurance purposes.
• Proven multi-drop and basic warehouse experience.
• Good conversational skills to engage customers and colleagues.
• Ability to switch tasks and adapt to changing workload.

Responsibilities

• Perform warehouse duties including stock control, picking and packing.
• Load vans for deliveries and cover delivery routes when required.
• Provide a helpful service to customers and support branch operations.
• Communicate effectively with team and customers to secure repeat business.

Job Description

As aWarehouse Operative/ Delivery Driver, you will be an integral part of the branch team, by completingwarehouse duties such as inwards stock control and picking and packing products from our vast product line, Loading up the vans for deliveries to be completed and covering delivery routes when required.

This role allows you to have firsthand customer interaction and support the operation by offering a great service to our customers to enhance the service we provide and securing repeat customers.
