About The Role
As a Warehouse Controller at GSF Car Parts, you will be responsible for motivating and leading a team of Warehouse Operatives. You will ensure that stock levels support sales targets and that the operational functions of the Warehouse run efficiently.
- Manage the organisation and performance of the Goods In, Goods Out, Returns, and Stock Control departments.
- Accurately pick and load vans/carriers for timely customer deliveries.
- Verify stock quantities against computer records.
- Use judgment and initiative to develop effective solutions to challenges.
- Support the branch manager with holiday/sickness cover, weekly planning, team development, and collaboration with drivers to optimize delivery service.
- Create a positive environment where employees are valued and can develop their potential.
Working hours: 45 hours on average, Monday to Friday, including alternate Saturdays.
About You
You should have a proven track record of managing a warehouse, ideally in a fast-paced environment such as FMCG.
- Ability to motivate and lead a team.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong planning and organizational skills.
- Ability to work calmly under pressure.
- Customer and sales-focused mindset.
- Experience with MAM is desirable but not essential.
