About The Role

As a Warehouse Controller at GSF Car Parts, you will be responsible for motivating and leading a team of Warehouse Operatives. Your role ensures that stock levels support sales budgets and that the operational functions of the Warehouse run smoothly.

Main Duties include:

1. Manage the organisation and performance to ensure the smooth and efficient running of the Goods In, Goods Out, Returns, and Stock Control departments.
2. Pick and load vans/carriers accurately for timely customer delivery when required.
3. Check stock quantities against the computer system for accuracy.
4. Use personal judgment and initiative to develop effective solutions to challenges and obstacles.
5. Ensure the operational functions of the Warehouse run smoothly and assist the branch manager with holidays/sickness cover, weekly planning, team development, and collaboration with Drivers to ensure optimal delivery service.
6. Create a positive and supportive environment where employees are valued and can reach their potential.

Working hours: Average hours Monday to Friday, including alternate Saturday working.

About You

You should have a proven track record of managing a warehouse, ideally in a fast-paced environment such as FMCG.

What you'll need to succeed:

4. Ability to work calmly under pressure.
5. Customer and sales focus.
6. Previous experience with MAM is desirable but not essential.
