Job description:

We are at the centre of the rapidly growing cell and gene therapy sector. We deliver life-changing therapies to patients, and so can you.

We are currently recruiting for Warehouse Controllers to join the Warehouse and Supply Chain (WSC) team at our facilities in Wallingford and Cowley.

The purpose of the role is to carry out all the necessary activities to support the warehouse “end to end” function. This includes the physical receipt of materials, booking in, labelling and movement to picking against shop orders, packing, and delivering to production facilities.

Our WSC chain team are critical to our manufacturing success. They ensure we have the consumables and reagents needed to make our products, which will go on to change the lives of millions of patients. This multi-functional team works together to support all our logistical needs.

Your responsibilities in this role would be:

  1. Receiving stock from vendors, ensuring product is:
    • Delivered without damage
    • At correct location and matches purchase order
    • Stored in appropriate location (noting any special temperature/hazardous storage conditions)
  2. Ensuring stock is in correct storage areas (Quarantine; Release; Reject)
  3. Updating the computer system where applicable to ensure accuracy
  4. Performing cycle counts/stock checks to maintain accuracy
  5. Maintaining cleanliness, safety, and security of the warehouse
  6. Updating Standard Operating Procedures to reflect current practices
  7. Picking, packing, and checking stock by item, batch number, and quantity as requisitioned
  8. Driving company vehicle to deliver requisitions to production and OXB sites
  9. Coordinating shipments of Drug Substance (or other materials) for processing
  10. Raising purchase requisitions where appropriate

We are looking for:

  • High accuracy, numeracy, and literacy skills
  • Computer literacy (Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams)
  • Previous warehouse experience
  • Manual handling training
  • Experience operating mechanical lifting equipment (FLT not essential)
  • Driving license
