Job summary

Mitie Group plc. is seeking a Cleaning and Waste Operative to join our warehouse cleaning team. You will perform cleaning duties across all warehouse areas, including washrooms and canteens, using appropriate equipment.

You will respond to client call-outs, follow health and safety policies, and manage waste disposal. Full training is provided; a Basic Disclosure check may be required.

Qualifications

• No experience necessary as full training will be provided.
• Basic Disclosure Check may be required.
• May be required to undertake a drug and alcohol screening test.

Responsibilities

• General cleaning and tidying of all warehouse areas including washrooms and canteens.
• Use appropriate cleaning equipment, materials and cleaning products.
• Ensure all equipment is kept clean, well maintained and in safe working order.
• React quickly to call-outs from the client and comply with Health & Safety legislation and policies.
• Manage waste disposal.
