Job summary

Solotech is seeking a Warehouse Assistant to support preparation and dispatch of hire equipment, ensuring service excellence. You will help develop preparation processes and implement improvements to boost team efficiency.

The role requires flexible, team-oriented individuals with good admin skills, MS Office proficiency, and a readiness to assist other roles as needed. A full UK driving license is required, and forklift training may be provided.

Qualifications

• GCSE level education or equivalent work experience.
• 1 year minimum in a warehouse environment.
• Full clean driving license.
• Right to work in the UK.
• Forklift license is desirable (training provided if without).
• Proficiency with computers and MS Office applications.
• Ability to lift/move equipment safely within Health & Safety guidelines.
• Ability to interact with people at all levels and work well in a team.

Responsibilities

• Handle administrative tasks as required for the role.
• Develop safe working practices according to H&S policies.
• Prepare, assemble and de-prep equipment (new and used).
• Assist asset management with stock location/requests.
• Assist loading/unloading of courier/transport vehicles.
• Ensure equipment is delivered within timelines with proper packaging and documentation.
• Report anomalies or damaged equipment to managers.
• Maintain a clean, organized warehouse; liaise with third parties and customers to uphold service standards.
• Communicate clearly with all areas of the business.
