Job summary

Tropic HQ is seeking a Warehouse Assistant to support day-to-day operations, ensuring stock is handled accurately and efficiently across multiple sites. You will pick, transport and store components, receive and dispatch goods, and operate various forklift equipment.

The role requires previous warehouse experience, a full UK driving licence, proficiency with WMS/ERP systems, and a proactive, safety-first approach.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a warehouse, logistics or fulfilment environment essential.
• Full UK driving licence is essential, with willingness to drive a company van.
• Experience operating warehouse equipment and forklifts.
• Strong attention to detail and safety-conscious approach.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Expert in using warehouse systems (WMS/ERP).

Responsibilities

• Pick, transport and store components and products across warehouse locations.
• Deliver and receive goods to and from internal departments.
• Receive, unload and load goods in and out of the business.
• Support regular stock takes throughout the year.
• Operate warehouse equipment, including counterbalance, Flexi, PPT and order picker forklifts.
• Use warehouse management (WMS) and order management systems (OMS) effectively.
• Identify areas of improvement and report discrepancies, damages or stock issues promptly.
• Follow all health, safety and environmental requirements and maintain a safe warehouse.
