Position: Warehouse Assistant

We are looking for an enthusiastic, responsible, and self-motivated individual to join our Warehouse team in Woking.

Role Overview:

As a Warehouse Assistant, you will primarily work within the yard, ensuring all orders are picked, packed, and shipped efficiently. You will also be responsible for loading and unloading vehicles safely and proactively. Reporting to the Warehouse Team Leader, you will collaborate closely with the Warehouse and Softener supplies teams, becoming a vital part of Harvey Water Softeners' operations.

Working Hours: Monday - Thursday 8:30am - 5:00pm, Friday 8:30am - 12:30pm, Saturday 8:30am - 12:30pm

Key Responsibilities:

• Pick, pack, and ship filter orders promptly.
• Load and unload vehicles using a forklift.
• Handle trade and dealer orders and load them onto vehicles.
• Replenish stock as needed.
• Maintain stock control, including transacting stock usage.
• Work with the inventory controller and team leader to implement process improvements.
• Perform general warehouse duties, including cleaning and maintenance.
• Follow H&S standards and report near misses when applicable.
• Conduct stock takes, potentially quarterly.

Candidate Requirements:

• Previous experience in a warehouse environment.
• Experience with physical stock control.
• Computer literacy.
• Flexible and willing to adapt.
• Team player with the ability to work independently and use initiative.
