Assistant Warehouse Manager

Company: Modern Food Manufacturing

Location: West London - Acton

Are you looking to take your food warehousing experience to the next level? In this role you’ll need to bring your innovative ways of thinking, your collaborative attitude and passion for HSE to assist the Warehouse Manager in maintaining efficient and smooth operations.

• Hours: 5 days a week, your choice of the 5 days you work, 8am-5pm with flexibility.
• Salary: DOE – £40,000 to £45,000 + generous benefits package.

The Role

You will be reporting directly to the Warehouse Manager and be responsible for the effective operation of the warehouse. Your duties are varied and will include:

• Overseeing the receipt, storage and distribution of raw materials & finished products.
• Inventory management, order fulfilment, shipping & receiving, quality assurance, safety & compliance, continuous improvement, and team management.
• Project work such as streamlining the picking & packing process.
• Using their WMS (Navision) to monitor traceability and accurately maintain data.

Your Skills & Experience

To be considered for this opportunity, you will need:

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain or a relevant field.
• Previous experience in multi-temperature food storage and warehousing.
• Good understanding of HACCP & CCP, Code of Practice, and BRC Standards.
• Team leadership & supervision experience.
