In this role, you’ll need to bring your innovative thinking, collaborative attitude, and passion for HSE to assist the Warehouse Manager in maintaining efficient and smooth operations.

Hours – 5 days a week, your choice of the days you work.
Salary – DOE – £40,000 to £45,000 + generous benefits package

The Company

A well-established and innovative food manufacturer renowned for their quality and tasty product selection. They supply all the UK’s major retailers and restaurant chains.

The Role

You will report directly to the Warehouse Manager and be responsible for the effective operation of the warehouse. Your duties will include:

  1. Overseeing the receipt, storage, and distribution of raw materials and finished products.
  2. Managing inventory, order fulfillment, shipping & receiving, quality assurance, safety & compliance, continuous improvement, and team management.
  3. Leading project work such as streamlining the picking and packing process.
  4. Using their WMS (Navision) to monitor traceability and maintain accurate data.
Your Skills & Experience

To be considered for this opportunity, you will need:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain or a relevant field.
  • Previous experience in multi-temperature food storage and warehousing.
  • Good understanding of HACCP & CCP, Code of Practice, and BRC Standards.
  • Team leadership and supervision experience.
  • Knowledge of food safety regulations.
