Job Description

The role of the Warehouse Assistant is essential to for all campuses to get off to the best start to their summer. Working as a team, you will ensure that each of our programmes are supplied with everything needed to run a pop-up summer campus.

Your main focus will be to pick and pack the boxes that are sent out to the campuses throughout the UK, ensuring that all stock is accounted for and delivered to the correct location in a timely manner. Packing the equipment for the campuses requires a high level of accuracy and detail.

The role is very busy and varied and acts as the backbone of the summer school, providing the initial and essential setup that allows campuses to thrive.

Person Specification

This job would suit someone who displays the following key attributes:

  • Comfortable working in warehouse environments and physically able to lift heavy loads as required
  • A team player who can confidently work with others
  • Organised and methodical approach to work
  • Can take initiative to solve problems
  • Attention to detail
  • Understands & implements the basic requirements of Health and Safety in the workplace
  • A flexible ‘can do’ attitude

Desirable Experience

  • Experience of working in warehouse , Logistics or Stock Taking
  • Clean UK driving license and access to a vehicle

Position Details

  • Fixed term contract to August 29th 2025
  • Working hours will be 40 hours per week
  • Weekend & evening work will be required at times, particularly during the busy summer months
  • Based at our storage facility north of Oxford (OX5 1PY)
  • Assist with the unloading / loading of supplier vehicles, ensuring there is supporting paperwork that corresponds to all the items
  • Stock stored correctly in designated locations
  • Picking & packing orders correctly
  • Ensuring Warehouse working area is kept clean & tidy
  • Ensuring that all H&S protocols are observed & practiced at all times
