Job summary

HY Staffing is seeking a dedicated Personal Support Worker to provide essential care to clients in Greater London. You will assist with daily activities, monitor health, and report changes to the care team, while promoting dignity and independence. Responsibilities include helping with bathing, mobility, meals, medication reminders, and light housekeeping. A PSW certificate, CPR/First Aid, and at least 1 year of experience are required; compassionate communication is essential.

Qualifications

• PSW Certificate from an accredited program.
• CPR and First Aid certification.
• Compassionate, patient, and strong interpersonal skills.
• Ability to lift and assist with mobility when needed.
• 1+ years of experience in a similar role (home care or long-term care setting preferred).

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with personal hygiene, such as bathing and dressing.
• Help with mobility and transfers from bed to wheelchair.
• Prepare meals, assist with feeding, and remind about medications.
• Provide companionship and emotional support to promote well-being.
• Light housekeeping and laundry to maintain a tidy living environment.
• Report any changes in a client’s physical or emotional condition to the care team.
