Job summary

Acorn by Synergie is seeking a Warehousing and Stock Control Operative to join a well-established team in Colerne. The role covers accurate stock movement logging, regular cycle counts, and proactive discrepancy resolution, with a 7am-3pm schedule and a permanent contract.

The position offers a competitive annual salary of £27,258.96, 30 days holiday rising to 33, a pension contribution of 6.5%, and monthly incentives, with own transport required for site access.

Qualifications

• Strong attention to detail for stock counts and reconciliations.
• Excellent organisational skills to manage stock systematically.
• Experience with stock control processes and reports is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Accurately track and record all stock movements, both incoming and outgoing.
• Conduct regular cycle counts and full stock takes to ensure inventory accuracy.
• Investigate and resolve stock discrepancies promptly.
• Maintain organised and secure storage areas, including bay checks.
• Update inventory systems with all stock movements and transactions.
• Generate stock reports to highlight issues, discrepancies and trends.
• Operate warehouse equipment, such as forklifts, safely.
• Support process improvement initiatives within stock management.

Key Duties

• Accurately track and record all stock movements, both incoming and outgoing.
• Conduct regular cycle counts and full stock takes to ensure inventory accuracy.
• Investigate and resolve stock discrepancies promptly.
• Maintain organised and secure storage areas, including bay checks and processing stock in and out.
• Update inventory management systems with all stock movements.
• Generate stock reports to highlight issues, discrepancies and trends.
• Operate warehouse equipment, such as forklifts, safely.
• Support process improvement initiatives within stock management.

Requirements

• IT proficiency, including inventory management software and Microsoft Excel or SAP.
