Job summary

Great Bear, part of the Culina Group, is recruiting a Warehouse Allocator for the Milton Keynes site to monitor stock movements and run orders aligned with the shift plan for on-time dispatch. You will work with First Line Managers to manage resources and maintain continuous workflow for maximum efficiency.

The role requires proven experience in a fast-paced warehouse/3PL, strong communication, and IT literacy with MS Office and WMS systems.

Qualifications

• Proven experience within a similar role in a fast-paced warehouse/3PL environment.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to effectively communicate internally and externally.
• IT literate with knowledge surrounding MS Office and various WMS databases.
• Effective organisation skills with the ability to work from your own initiative.

Responsibilities

• Control loading equipment allocation within specified areas.
• Pre-allocate loads and maintain advanced pick position in line with shift plan.
• Monitor and update shift plans to provide regular progress updates.
• Move staff across work areas to maintain correct flow of activities.
• Run orders in line with instruction and scheduled dispatch times.
• Select appropriate loading/unloading bays based on current requirements.
• Update the electronic schedule and auto-store systems for accurate activity records.
• Carry out stock shortage investigations on picks and monitor replenishments.
• Compile and send reports as required.

Job Description

We are currently recruiting for a Warehouse Allocator to join our teamat our Milton Keynes site, where you will beresponsible for monitoring all stock movements within the warehouse.

As a Warehouse Allocator, you will also set up and run orders in line with the shift plan to meet scheduled dispatch times. You should work closely with the warehouse First Line Managers to effectively manage resource and ensure that the flow of work is continuous to maximise efficiency.

Salary:£26,000 per annum.

Working hours:Monday-Friday nights, 10pm-6am.

Responsibilities of aWarehouse Allocator include:

• Controllingequipment allocation within specified areas.
