Job summary

Warehouse Administrator (Bonded Warehouse)
Location: Hellaby
⏰ Hours: Monday-Friday, 8:00am-4:00pm
Pay Rate: £12.45 per hour

About the Role
We are seeking a proactive and organised Warehouse Administrator to support our clients bonded warehouse operations in Hellaby. The successful candidate will play a key role in maintaining accurate records, supporting compliance, and ensuring efficient day-to-day workflow. Full training can be provided for applicants without prior bonded-warehouse experience, and duties will be tailored to match experience and capability.

Key Responsibilities
Bonded Warehouse Administration (full duties for experienced candidates, or gradually introduced for those without bond experience)
  • Maintain accurate records of goods received, stored, and dispatched under bond.
  • Assist in preparing and submitting excise duty declarations and reports.
  • Support the Contract Manager in ensuring compliance with HMRC regulations.
  • Update and manage documentation, including invoices, packing lists, and customs declarations.
  • Monitor stock movements and reconcile any discrepancies.
  • Assist in audits and inspections related to bonded operations.
  • Maintain and update Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and administrative processes.
General Warehouse Administration (suitable for all candidates)
  • Liaise with internal teams and external partners to ensure smooth warehouse operations.
  • Input and update data accurately in warehouse systems.
  • Organise and maintain administrative records.
  • Support general warehouse workflow as required.
Requirements
  • Previous administrative experience (warehouse or logistics experience beneficial).
  • Good attention to detail and accuracy in record-keeping.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to work with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Confidence using computer systems and Microsoft Office.
  • Ability to prioritise tasks and manage time effectively.

Bonded-warehouse experience is an advantage but not essential, as training will be provided. Duties may be adapted to suit the individual's experience level.
