Job summary

ACS Staffing Solutions is seeking a Warehouse Operative in Preston to join our logistics team. You will perform warehouse duties, parcel handling, administration and computer-based tasks to keep daily operations running smoothly.

The role is 40 hours per week, £12.92 per hour, with shift options 07:00-16:00 or 13:00-22:00, start ASAP. Temporary to permanent after 12 weeks, with flexible days/hours as required.

Qualifications

• Able to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Basic computer and smartphone skills.
• Physically capable of lifting parcels and being on your feet.
• Good attention to detail and accuracy.
• Reliable with excellent attendance and timekeeping.
• Flexible and able to adapt to changing working days and hours.

Responsibilities

• Sorting, scanning, loading and unloading parcels.
• Using computers, smartphones and internal systems to process and track deliveries.
• Completing data entry, system updates and information checks.
• Supporting drivers and the wider team with daily operations.
• Identifying and reporting parcel, system or operational issues.
• Helping to ensure the warehouse and daily operations run efficiently.
