Job summary

Pertemps Bond is seeking a Goods In Team Member for a pharmaceutical logistics operation in Birmingham. You will receive, check, and process incoming deliveries, ensuring accurate data entry and proper storage in line with GDP guidelines and SOPs.

The role requires good attention to detail, basic computer skills, and the ability to work as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. Monday to Friday, 07:00–19:00, pay £13.54 per hour, with a focus on stock accuracy and safe handling.

Goods In Team Member
Location: Central Logistics Centre, Gravelly Park, Birmingham
Hours: Monday to Friday

We are looking for a reliable and hardworking Goods In Team Member to join a pharmaceutical logistics operation. You will be responsible for receiving, checking, and processing incoming deliveries of pharmaceutical and healthcare products, ensuring they are handled accurately and stored correctly in line with company procedures and regulatory requirements.

This role plays an important part in maintaining stock accuracy and ensuring products are available for distribution to customers safely and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities

• Receive and unload incoming deliveries safely and efficiently.
• Check deliveries against delivery notes and purchase orders.
• Inspect products for damage, shortages, or discrepancies.
• Accurately book stock into the Warehouse Management System (WMS).
• Use handheld scanners and warehouse systems to process goods.
• Label and store products in the correct warehouse locations.
• Ensure products are stored under the correct environmental conditions.
• Follow stock rotation procedures.
• Report any damaged, missing, or non-conforming goods to the appropriate team.
• Assist with stock counts and inventory checks when required.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organised working environment.
• Work collaboratively with colleagues to achieve daily operational targets.
• Adhere to all Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), GDP guidelines, and company policies.
