Job summary

JAM Recruitment Ltd in Birmingham is seeking a reliable Warehouse Goods In Team Member for a full-time role at the central logistics centre in Gravelly Park, Erdington. You will receive, check and process incoming deliveries of healthcare products, ensuring accurate stock records and compliant storage.

Duties include unloading stock, verifying deliveries against documentation, booking stock into the WMS with handheld scanners, and maintaining a clean, safe working environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in a warehouse, logistics or distribution environment.
• Excellent attention to detail and high accuracy.
• Basic computer skills and ability to use a simple WMS.
• Good communication and ability to work in a team.
• Capable of performing in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to perform manual handling tasks.

Responsibilities

• Receive and unload incoming deliveries safely.
• Check deliveries against delivery notes and purchase orders.
• Inspect products for damage, shortages, or discrepancies.
• Accurately book stock into the Warehouse Management System (WMS).
• Use handheld scanners and warehouse systems to process goods.
• Label and store products in the correct warehouse locations.
• Ensure products are stored under correct environmental conditions.
• Follow stock rotation procedures.
• Report any damaged, missing, or non-conforming goods to the appropriate team.
• Assist with stock counts and inventory checks when required.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organised working environment.
• Work collaboratively with colleagues to achieve daily operational targets.
• Adhere to all SOPs, GDP guidelines, and company policies.
