NHS Jobs is seeking a diligent ward-based catering assistant to support patient meal services. You will assist with collecting orders on SAFFRON tablets, delivering meals to wards, and maintaining hygiene standards in a busy hospital kitchen environment.

The role requires accurate temperature recording, adherence to Trust food safety policies, and working within chilled and wet areas. Weekend shifts may include enhancements and higher pay.

Responsabilités

• Visit wards to collect meal orders using SAFFRON on a hand-held tablet.
• Deliver meals to wards using trolleys, Regen Ovens and Cam Carts within the set service window.
• Record meal temperatures and monitor for food safety compliance.
• Clean and wash up in the wash area, following COSHH and infection control policies.
