A 12-month Ward Manager post on the Acute Neurology Ward at University Hospitals of North Midlands NHS Trust, a tertiary centre for neurology care. The role leads a nursing team caring for patients with complex neurological conditions, with a focus on maximising recovery and developing leadership skills. It suits experienced neurology nurses comfortable with acute hospital work. Fit depends on NMC registration and at least five years' post-registration experience, including a year at Band 6 and three years in neurology.

Registration & licences

• Registered nurse on the NMC register

Experience

• Experience in a neurological speciality as a qualified nurse
• Minimum of 5 years' post-registration experience, including at least 1 year as a substantive Band 6
• Minimum of 3 years working in neurology
• Experience of working in an acute hospital setting, ideally neurological
