Leeds Teaching Hospital NHS Trust in Leeds is seeking an experienced Band 6 Ward Nurse to support the Senior Sister/Charge Nurse with 24-hour ward management, leading the nursing team and ensuring compassionate, safe, high-quality patient care.

You will help develop the ward’s philosophy, supervise staff, manage administrative tasks, and participate in cost-effective resource use, with a structured development programme and opportunities to enhance leadership and clinical skills.

Formación

• Registered nurse with leadership experience on a ward.
• Demonstrated ability to motivate/team and manage change.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

Responsabilidades

• Assist Senior Sister/Charge Nurse with 24-hour ward management.
• Provide professional and clinical leadership to the nursing team.
• Support cost-effective use of resources and ward administration.
• Coordinate activities and maintain effective communication in the department.
• Role model evidence-based practice and staff development.
