Job summary

Constellation Careers in the United Kingdom is seeking flexible ward hosts to support hospital dining across multiple venues. You will help prepare and serve meals, drinks, and snacks with a friendly, energetic approach.

Shifts are flexible and you can choose locations across the network. DBS checks may be required, and training in Health & Safety is provided. A supportive team environment and weekly pay are offered.

Qualifications

• DBS on Update Service or enhanced check may be required at some locations.
• Previous barista or kitchen experience preferred

Working Hours

In this flexible and active role, you can pick and choose your shifts as you please. And you can even choose WHERE to work, with the opportunity open for you to work at any one of our 5,000+ venues across the UK. Looking for DBS Ward Hosts you must have a DBS on the Update Service. This will be patients meals, making drinks etc you must have excellent Communication skills, with a Friendly Outgoing personality. Hours are over 7 days 730-1400 & 1500-1900 you need a long sleeved black shirt, black trousers & Black safety shoes.

Role responsibilities

Daily tasks may include:

• Providing a friendly and enthusiastic service
• Producing, and serving, consistently high quality meals and snacks
• Serving hot and cold drinks
• Cleaning down workstations and tables
• Restocking cupboards and fridges
• Conducting quality checks

Requirements

- Please note that some locations (such as schools) may require an enhanced DBS check. Please make the recruiter aware if you already hold one. If not, we will assist with this process.

- Previous barista or kitchen experience preferred

- The ability to remain calm during high-volume periods

- Enthusiastic & energetic

- Excellent teamwork skills

- Good initiative when working

As an active role, you must be comfortable with walking and standing during the majority of your shift.
