Calderdale and Huddersfield NHS Foundation Trust is seeking Healthcare Support Workers for Ward 5A on a General Medicine ward at Calderdale Royal Hospital. The role involves assisting qualified nurses with patient care, maintaining patient dignity, and supporting the team in a fast-paced environment.

Flexibility is offered with part-time options, job-share and the possibility to work from home where appropriate. The post is NHS Band 2, with good prospects and a commitment to equal opportunities.

Formación

• GCSE English and Maths required or equivalent.
• Level 2 qualification in care/healthcare required.
• Level 3 qualification in healthcare support is required or desirable.
• Good communication and teamwork are essential.

Responsabilidades

• Assist qualified nursing staff with direct and indirect patient care.
• Maintain confidentiality and work collaboratively with the care team.
• Attend mandatory training and adhere to Health and Safety policies.
• Follow Trust policies and ensure high standards of patient care and documentation.
