• Moving and Handling competence
• Infection Control knowledge
• Health Care Assistant core competencies evidence
• Level 3 Healthcare Support qualification

Responsibilities

• Carry out main duties with dignity and respect for patients, visitors and colleagues
• Maintain patient confidentiality at all times
• Work collaboratively with the care team to ensure patient safety
• Follow Trust infection control and health and safety policies
• Attend mandatory training and updates as required
• Provide care within defined competence and supervision levels
• Maintain effective communication with the multidisciplinary team
• Contribute ideas to improve patient care and experience
• Record keeping and documentation as required
• Demonstrate professional, compassionate and courteous conduct
