An exciting opportunity for the post of Ward Assistant has arisen for a motivated individual who is keen to develop their skills and join the Trauma & Orthopaedic Admission Ward 17 Team.
You will work as part of the team carrying out general, clerical, administrative and housekeeping/infection control duties. You must be able to work independently, prioritising workload in an environment that is constantly changing.
The post holder should have good interpersonal skills with a good telephone manner and be computer literate. Keyboard skills are essential. Knowledge of the working practices of hospital processes within a Medical Records or a clinical area would be beneficial, although training will be given.
You will be required to achieve the mandatory Induction standards for Healthcare Support Workers in Scotland and to comply with the Code of Conduct throughout your employment.
