Job summary

NHS National Services Scotland is seeking an enthusiastic and compassionate individual to join Ward B, a 14-bed Acute medical ward with 4 HDU beds. You will carry out direct patient-centered care under the supervision of a Registered Nurse and work with other specialties in a multidisciplinary team.

The role requires hardworking, flexible, and caring individuals with excellent communication skills. Training and support will be provided; shifts include day/night rotation and weekend work.

Qualifications

• Experience in healthcare desirable but training and support will be provided.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient-centered care under supervision of a Registered Nurse.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary team members to support patient care.
• Rotating day, night and weekend shifts to cover ward requirements.

We are looking for an enthusiastic, motivated and committed individual with an interest in Acute medicine to join our dynamic team in Ward B

Ward B is a 14 bedded in-patient Acute medical ward with 4 High Dependency Unit beds

You will carry out direct patient centered care in support of and supervised by a Registered Nurse and you must also have the ability to work alongside other specialties in a multidisciplinary team.

It is essential you are hardworking, adaptable, flexible, have a caring, kind and compassionate personality, excellent communication skills and be motivated to continuously learn and develop. Experience of working within healthcare is desirable but training and support will be provided to achieve the necessary skills. Shift patterns will include rotation on both day and night duty as well as weekend working.
