Job summary

Wates Property Services is seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead the delivery of a major planned maintenance contract for a key social housing client in the UK. Based in Walsall with a home office in Forster House, Hatherton Road, Walsall, you will oversee performance, safety, budget and quality, guiding multiple workstreams and a regional team to successful delivery.

Qualifications

• Experience delivering planned maintenance in occupied social housing.
• Proven ability to manage multiple workstreams simultaneously.
• Strong leadership of Site Managers, supervisors and operational staff.
• Demonstrable experience handling project escalations and stakeholder management.
• Solid understanding of health & safety, compliance and quality requirements.
• Full UK driving licence.

Responsibilities

• Lead, develop and support a team of Site Managers and operational staff.
• Manage multiple workstreams and programmes simultaneously.
• Take ownership of operational performance, contract delivery and customer satisfaction.
• Monitor programme, quality and health & safety performance.
• Manage escalations, risks and project challenges with effective resolutions.
• Build strong relationships with residents, clients and internal stakeholders.
• Support commercial performance and ensure projects are delivered within budget.
• Produce project reports, programme updates and performance metrics.
• Identify opportunities for continuous improvement and operational efficiencies.
