Job summary

Neath Port Talbot Council is seeking a Transport Strategy Officer to lead walking and cycling initiatives and shape sustainable transport plans across the South West Wales region. You will work with passionate leaders to craft innovative strategies that improve how people move, live, and connect.

Qualifications

• Minimum 7 GCSEs including Maths and English at Grades A-C.
• BTEC Level 3 or equivalent in a relevant field such as transport planning, engineering, or environment.

Responsibilities

• Champion walking and cycling, bringing the vision of safer, greener travel to life
• Shape and update future walking and cycling plans with a focus on innovation and progress
• Work hands-on with exciting transport initiatives, from concept to implementation
• Help apply for funding to unlock the next generation of transport projects

Education
