Job summary

Neath Port Talbot Council is seeking an energetic Transport Strategy Officer to shape modern, sustainable transport strategies across South West Wales. You will champion walking and cycling, contribute to future plans, and work on initiatives from concept to implementation, including securing funding.

Qualifications

• GCSEs including Maths and English at Grades A-C are required.
• BTEC Level 3 or equivalent in a relevant field like transport planning, engineering or environment is required.

• Shape and update future walking and cycling plans with a focus on innovation and progress.
• Work hands-on with transport initiatives, from concept to implementation.

About you:

We’re looking for curious minds and bold thinkers—minimum 7 GCSEs (including Maths and English at Grades A-C), plus a BTEC Level 3 or equivalent in a relevant field like transport planning, engineering, or environment.
