Qualifications

WAKING NIGHTS SUPPORT WORKER

We offer an excellent opportunity for a Waking Nights Support Worker to join our home in Birmingham. The home is rated 'Good' in all areas by OFSTED and has an excellent reputation with local authorities. It can accommodate up to 8 young people, all with learning disabilities, Autism, epilepsy, and some displaying associated behaviours. Many of our children are non-verbal or have limited communication, using methods such as picture boards, Smartbox devices, and Makaton.

Preferred but not essential qualifications and experience:

  • Experience in Residential Childcare (Preferred)
  • Level 3 Children’s and Young People or equivalent (Preferred but not essential)
  • Driver (company provides a car during working hours)
  • Able to work unsociable hours (evenings, nights, weekends)
