Job summary

CareTech Community Services in Leek, Staffordshire, is seeking a Residential Waking Nights Support Worker to join our team.

You will work from 9.00pm to 9.30am, supporting young people with learning disabilities, autism and epilepsy in a small home.

We welcome applicants with or without experience from education, youth work, childcare, healthcare, social care or community services, and the role offers a competitive salary and development opportunities.

  • Experience in a Residential Childcare Environment (Preferred)
  • Flexible to work evenings, weekends and unsociable hours
  • Level 4 Diploma in Children’s and Young People (Preferred but not essential)

Role: Waking Nights Support Worker

Location: Leek, Staffordshire

Salary: £14.86 per hour

Typical shift: 9.00pm - 9.30am

Do you have a passion for making a real impact in young people’s lives? We have a fantastic opportunity for a Residential Waking Nights Support Worker to join our dedicated team in Leek.

At Inspire, part of the CareTech family, we help young people with learning disabilities, autism, and epilepsy live fulfilling lives. Our home in Leek provides a safe, nurturing environment for up to five young people, some of which are non-verbal and use alternative communication methods like Makaton and Smartbox devices to ensure their voices are heard.

What We’re Looking For:

  • Experience in a Residential Childcare Environment (Preferred)
  • Level 4 Diploma in Children’s and Young People qualification (Preferred but not essential)
  • Flexible to work evenings, weekends, and unsociable hours
  • A full UK Drivers Licence is preferred but not essential.
