Social Network: WAKING NIGHTS SUPPORT WORKER - Dewsbury

Opportunity: An excellent chance to join as a Waking Nights Support Worker at our Dewsbury home, rated 'Good' by OFSTED with an excellent local reputation. The home accommodates up to 5 young people with learning disabilities, Autism, epilepsy, and some associated behaviors. Many are non-verbal or have limited communication, using methods like picture boards, Smartbox devices, and Makaton.

Preferred but not essential qualifications and requirements:

  • Experience in Residential Childcare (preferred)
  • Level 3 Children’s and Young People qualification or equivalent (preferred but not essential)
  • Driver with company-provided vehicle during working hours
  • Ability to work unsociable hours (evenings, nights, weekends)
