Aufgaben

• Support residents with personal care, including bathing, toileting and getting up/dressed.
• Help residents with evening routines, settling for bed, and morning get-ups.
• Respond to personal care needs, health needs or emergencies as they arise, including offering medication if trained.
• Stay awake, alert, and carry out regular night checks as required, recording these accurately.
• Ensure each resident's room is clean, tidy and safe overnight.
• Carry out domestic tasks between care duties, cleaning, laundry, ironing, updating records and preparing breakfast trays.
• Follow all relevant policies and procedures, helping create a warm, pleasant atmosphere for residents and colleagues alike

About the role

We're looking for a caring, enthusiastic Waking Night Health Care/Support Assistant to join the team at our Two Trees Care Home. .

No two nights are ever quite the same in a complex care setting, and the right candidate will be organised and confident in identifying each resident's needs, always promoting their independence and choice.

What you'll be doing

• Support residents with all aspects of personal care, including bathing, toileting and getting up/dressed

• Experience working with people with mental health issues and complex needs is preferred but not essential
