Job summary

Community Integrated Care is seeking a Waking Night Support Worker in Portsmouth to provide dedicated night-time care for adults with complex needs. You will work 10pm–7am across two shifts and contribute to a stable, supportive home environment.

We value experience in mental health, autism, and sensory communication, plus training in PBS; DBS costs are supported and progression opportunities exist within a growing charity.

Qualifications

• Experience in mental health, autism and sensory communication is essential.
• Knowledge of PBS methods and trauma-informed approaches is valued.
• Willingness to undertake ongoing professional development and training.
• Ability to work night shifts and maintain high-quality support.

Responsibilities

• Provide dedicated night-time support to residents in their home.
• Build trusting relationships and promote independence and wellbeing.
• Respond to behavioural challenges with PBS strategies and de-escalation.
• Record care notes and communicate with the wider care team.
