Job summary

Dimensions Ltd in Newmarket, Suffolk, is seeking two female Support Workers to join the waking night team. The role is 22 hours per week, with two wake nights from 8:30pm to 7:30am, including alternate weekends. The pay rate is £14.11 per hour.

You will provide personal care, administer medication, support with household tasks, and promote wellbeing while working independently during night shifts. Previous care experience and understanding of anxiety and communication differences are valued.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a Support Worker, Healthcare Assistant or similar care role is essential.
• Experience supporting people with anxiety, complex needs or behaviours of distress would be highly beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care and administer medication.
• Support with household tasks and maintain a clean and comfortable home.
• Promote wellbeing and monitor wellbeing during night shifts.
• Work independently during night shifts as a lone worker.
• Follow support plans and respond calmly to changing situations.
