Position: Waking Night Support Worker

The support worker will be the first point of contact for residents and visitors, responding to various queries and maintaining professional communication with emergency and statutory services. The role includes training to become a designated first aider and fire marshal, responsible for evacuations during emergencies.

Key responsibilities include:

1. Carrying out daily administrative tasks.
2. Providing a visible security presence through scheduled patrols and addressing issues as they arise.
3. Maintaining accurate shift logs of patrols, incidents, visitors, and security matters.
4. Ensuring buildings and entry points are secure.
5. Monitoring CCTV screens, dealing with issues, and liaising with police when necessary.
6. Handling incidents related to security, safety, disorder, or damage within the scope of authority and informing relevant managers.
7. Overseeing maintenance tasks and contractors as directed by the manager.
8. Conducting routine checks on hygiene, fire safety, and other safety provisions.
