Job summary

Aspris Children’s Services is seeking a dedicated Waking Night Support Worker to join our residential childcare teams. You will support our young people, stay alert, and perform assigned tasks to ensure their safety and wellbeing.

We welcome enthusiastic individuals with resilience, good communication, organisation, and a caring approach. A full UK driving licence is essential; safeguarding screening will be completed for all applicants.

Qualifications

Our Children's Home is recruiting for Waking Night Support Workers now! We are looking for enthusiastic, caring and passionate people to become an integral part of our support team. In this role, you will support our young people and you will be required to be alert and observant at all times. In addition to regular checks on the children and young people you will be assigned additional tasks.

• Resilience – We support some of the most vulnerable children in society who have varying degrees of emotional behavioural difficulties, autism, ADHD and associated difficulties so there will be times where your resilience is challenged.

• Organisation – You’ll need to be confident and organised in updating care plans and reporting information that will be relevant to the care of our young people.

• Attentive – No young person / situation is the same so being attentive to understand them and identify areas where we can support is important and alert within any situation.
