About the Role:

We are recruiting for Waking Night Support Workers for a new Supported Living Service based in Manadon, Plymouth.

Are you experienced in working with individuals who have a Learning Disability and Mental Health needs? We are searching for a team of highly skilled and passionate individuals to assist someone in embarking on a new chapter in their life. This individual is eager to actively engage in the community and explore new opportunities. This role is both demanding and incredibly fulfilling, as you will play a crucial part in helping this person strive for their best life. Your responsibilities will include supporting them in participating in activities they enjoy and fostering their independence.

Possessing a valid driver's license will be advantageous.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Support and enable the People We Support to live their best life, delivering person-centred care aligned with our support model.
  • Use your knowledge and skills to deliver high-quality care following legislation, best practices, and policies.
  • Engage with individuals to help them maintain skills, participate in interests, and build community connections.
  • Maintain Support Plans and relevant documentation to ensure effective support.
  • Report any changes in the needs of the individuals to the Team Leader/Senior Support Worker.
  • Promote and maintain the safety and welfare of those in our care.
  • Help support individuals in maintaining and developing relationships with family and friends.
