We are recruiting for Waking Night Support Workers for a new Supported Living Service based in Manadon, Plymouth.

Are you experienced in working with individuals who have a Learning Disability and Mental Health needs? We are searching for a team of highly skilled and passionate individuals to assist someone in embarking on a new chapter in their life. This individual is eager to actively engage in the community and explore fresh opportunities. This role is both demanding and incredibly fulfilling, as you will play a crucial part in helping this person strive for their best life. Your responsibilities will encompass supporting them in participating in all the activities they find enjoyable, while fostering their independence to the fullest extent.

Possessing a valid driver's license will be advantageous.

As a Waking Night Support Worker, you'll play a meaningful role in:

• Supporting and enabling the People We Support to live their best life, whilst delivering person-centred care, unique to each individual, aligned with our person-led support delivery model.
• Using your knowledge, skills, and adherence to legislation, best practices, and our policies and procedures to deliver the highest quality care.
• Enabling individuals to engage with their interests, maintain their skills, and receive personalised, person-centred support.
• Contributing to the development and maintenance of their relationships within the community.
• Completing and maintaining Support Plans and other necessary documentation to ensure effective support.
• Notifying the Team Leader/Senior Support Worker of any changes in the individuals' needs, supporting their well-being.
• Promoting and maintaining the safety and safeguarding of those in our care.
• Helping individuals maintain and develop relationships with family, friends, and others important to them.
