Job summary

Voyage Care is seeking a genuine and caring Waking Night Support Worker for Burnham on Sea to support residents with bedtime routines and personal care during night hours. You will work within a dynamic team, performing regular checks and light domestic duties to help people grow in independence.

Qualifications

• We are seeking someone with the right experience and values to support individuals.
• Caregivers should be resilient, flexible and composed in approach.
• Experience following Positive Behaviour Support plans and reflective practice is valued.
• Experience supporting individuals with distress, mental health conditions, autism, or trauma is beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Assist with bedtime routines and personal care during night shifts.
• Conduct regular checks throughout the night and ensure safety.
• Perform light domestic duties as needed between checks.
• Help residents gain independence and confidence in daily activities.

Waking Night Support Worker – Burnham on Sea - £13.27 ph plus night enhancement

Typical Shifts are: 20:30 - 08:00 working 3 shifts a week including alternate weekends

We’re on the hunt for a genuinely caring, hands‑on *FEMALE Waking Night Support Worker with a passion for enhancing the quality of life of the people we support. As a support worker with us, you'll be helping people to gain more independence in their daily lives, whilst working within a dynamic team to support a fantastic group of people!

Our residential service within close proximity to the beach in Burnham on Sea has a welcoming and friendly environment and you can be sure that no two days will be the same! As a Night Support Worker, you’ll be enhancing the lives of people we support by assisting with bedtime routines, including personal care and completing regular checks throughout the night. You will also be expected to complete light domestic duties in any spare time.
