Peters Dean Care Ltd is seeking a dedicated Waking Night Support Worker for a children's residential home near Horsham. The role features a 4-on, 4-off night rota, with full training provided to support your development and confidence in caring for children.

Qualifications

• Experience in residential childcare or social care.
• Reliable and committed with ability to work full waking night shift.
• Calm, patient and able to think on your feet.

Responsibilities

• Providing a safe, calm and reassuring environment throughout the night.
• Being awake, alert and available to support the children whenever needed.
• Offering comfort, reassurance and emotional support.
• Responding calmly and confidently to incidents or challenging situations.
• Carrying out regular checks in line with individual care plans.
• Maintaining a clean, tidy and comfortable home.
• Completing night records and communicating any concerns to the wider team.
• Following safeguarding procedures and ensuring the children's needs remain at the centre of everything you do.
